A Philosophy to Live By
You have heard that the ancients were told…But I say to you…
We Only Have THIS LIFE to Serve God in Faith
Matthew 5:13 You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt should lose its taste, how can it be made salty? It is no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled on by men.
Ps 39:5 You have made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you. Each man’s life is but a breath.
1st Pet 1:24-25 …all men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the Word of the Lord stands forever.” And this is the word that was preached to you
1st Jn 2:17 The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.
We Cannot Hide What Cannot be Hidden
Matthew 5:14-15 You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are in the house.

Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.
The Word of God (Jesus) Fulfils the Word of God (The Prophecies)
Matthew 5:17-18 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Acts 3:18 …the things which God announced beforehand by the mouth of all the prophets, that His Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled.
Ps 119:89 — For ever, O LORD, Thy word is settled in heaven.
Isa 40:8 — The grass withereth, the flower fadeth; but the word of our God shall stand forever.
1Pet 1:25 —…the word of the Lord abideth for ever. And this is the word of good tidings which was preached unto you.
2nd Timothy 3:15-17…thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Compromising God’s Word Compromises One’s Soul
Matthew 5:19-20 Whoever breaks one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whoever does and teaches them, shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. I say to you, except your righteousness exceeds that of the Scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
