The Comforter
John 16:7–I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.
Obedience Reveals Identity
John 14:15 If you love Me, you will obey what I command.
The Comforter Is Jesus In Spirit Form
John 14:16 I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another (allos) Comforter, that He may abide with you forever the Spirit of truth.
I will pray to the Father and He will send you Someone Who is just like Me in every way. He will be identical to Me in the way He speaks, thinks and operates; the way He sees things and the way He does things. He will be exactly like Me in every way. If the Holy Spirit were here, it would be just as if I were here, because We think behave and operate exactly the same…
Jesus Is God In Human Form
Hebrews 1:3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
Only The People of the Lord Can Know The Spirit of The Lord
John 14:17 The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you.
We are IN The Lord & He Is IN Us!
John 14:18-20 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth Me no more; but ye see Me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I am in My Father, and ye in Me, and I in you.
The Lord Reveals Himself To The Receptive
John 14:21-22 Whoever has My commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves Me. He who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I too will love him and show Myself to him.” Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, “Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?”
Obey Jesus’ Words God Will Camp Out With You!
John 14:23-24 Jesus replied, “If anyone loves Me, he will obey My teaching. My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me will not obey My teaching. These words you hear are not My own; they belong to the Father Who sent Me.
The Counselor Assists Us Individually
John 14:25-26 All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
