Reorder Your Priorities for Eternal Ones
Colossians 3:1 Since you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
Be Deliberate Concerning Your Old Nature
Ephesians 4:22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires
The Biblical Diagnosis of Our Condition Before God
Genesis 6:5 The LORD saw how great man’s wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time.
Genesis 6:12-13 God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways.
Isaiah 64:6 All of us have become like one who is unclean, all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away!
Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Ecclesiastes 9:3 …there is one thing common to all: Truly the hearts of the sons of men are full of evil; madness is in their hearts while they live, and after that they go to the dead.
Mark 7:21-23 …from within, out of men’s hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and make a man ‘unclean.’
Romans 3:10-18 It is written: There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have all together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one. Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit. The poison of vipers is on their lips. Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood; ruin and misery mark their ways, and the way of peace they do not know. There is no fear of God before their eyes.
Get Into God’s Clean Clothing

Only God Can Clothe You
Genesis 3:21 The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.
Revelation 7:13-14 …one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes–who are they, where did they come from?” I answered, “Sir, you know.” He said, “They have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”
God Only Accepts The Sacrifice He Ordained
Genesis 4:3-7 Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the LORD. Abel brought fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The LORD looked with favor on Abel and his offering, but on Cain and his offering He did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast. Then the LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it.”
Zechariah 3:1-10 He showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right side to accuse him. The LORD said to Satan, “The LORD rebuke you, Satan! The LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is not this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?” Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel. The angel said to those who were standing before him, “Take off his filthy clothes.” Then he said to Joshua, “See, I have taken away your sin, and I will put rich garments on you.” Then I said, “Put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him, while the angel of the LORD stood by. The angel of the LORD gave this charge to Joshua: “This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘If you will walk in My ways and keep My requirements, then you will govern My house and have charge of My courts, and I will give you a place among these standing here. ‘Listen, O high priest Joshua and your associates seated before you, who are men symbolic of things to come: I am going to bring My Servant, the Branch (Jesus). See, the stone I have set in front of Joshua! There are seven eyes on that one stone, and I will engrave an inscription on it,’ says the LORD Almighty, ‘and I will remove the sin of this land in a single day. (by the death of Christ on the Cross)…declares the LORD Almighty.”
Jesus Is THE ONLY Sacrifice for Our Sin
1st Peter 2:24-25 He bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed. For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
