Christmas Promised
…the Lamb Who was slain from the creation of the world.

The Promise Is Eternal
1st Peter 1:18-20  …it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake.

He Was Offered for Us Before Creation Itself
Revelation 13:8  …all inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast (antichrist)–all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.

The Promise of Messiah Remedied Eve’s Error
Genesis 3:15  I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; He will crush your head, and you will strike His heel.

1st Timothy 2:14  Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner… the woman shall be saved through childbearing…(vs 15) (through thousands of years of childbearing Jesus was able to come to us)

The Promise of Messiah Is Hebrew
Genesis 12:3  I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.

John 4:20-22  “…our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.” Jesus declared, “Believe Me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews.”

The Messiah Is Prophesied to Rule & Save
Genesis 49:10  …the scepter (position of rule…firstborn) shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh (prince of shalom) comes; unto Him shall the gathering of the people be. (The salvation of many)

Revelation 5:9-10  …they sang a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for Thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by Thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; and hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth!

The Messiah Remedies The Serpents Bite
Numbers 21:6-9  The Lord sent fiery serpents among them; they bit the people, so that many in Israel died. So they came to Moses and said, “We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you. Pray to the Lord, that He take away the serpents from us!” So Moses prayed for them. The Lord said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent and set it on a pole, and everyone who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live.” So Moses made a bronze serpent and set it on a pole. If a serpent bit anyone, he would look at the bronze serpent and live.

John 12:23-33  Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me! This He said, signifying what death He would die.

He Was Promised to Deliver Us From Spiritual Slavery
Deuteronomy 18:15-19  I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, I will put my words in His mouth; and He shall speak unto them all that I shall command Him. It shall come to pass, that whomever will not hearken unto My words which He shall speak in My name, I will require it of Him.

John 5:37-47  The Father Who sent me has Himself testified concerning Me. You have never heard His voice nor seen His form, nor does His word dwell in you, for you do not believe the One He sent.  You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about Me, yet you refuse to come to Me to have life. “I do not accept praise from men, but I know you. I know that you do not have the love of God in your hearts.

John 5:37-47  I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not accept Me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him! How can you believe if you accept praise from one another, yet make no effort to obtain the praise that comes from the only God? But do not think I will accuse you before the Father. Your accuser is Moses, on whom your hopes are set. If you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me. But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?

The Promise of Christmas Is The Promise to Remove Your Sin
2 Corinthians 5:21  God made Him Who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.
