The Word of Life Pt. 7
1st John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched–this we proclaim concerning the Word of life!
Agape Love Is In A Child Of God’s Spiritual Genes
1st John 4:7-21 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
God Is Agape Love
1st John 4:8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
Agape Is Revelatory Of God’s Nature
1st John 4:9 This is how God showed His love among us: He sent His One and only Son into the world that we might live through Him.
Agape Love Was Demonstrated
1st John 4:10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Agape Love Is Intended To Replicate
1st John 4:11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
Agape Love IN Our Midst Reveals That God Is In Our Midst
1st John 4:12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and His love is made complete in us.
The Origin Of Agape Love Is God’s Spirit
1st John 4:13 We know that we live in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
John 4:24-26 God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.” The woman said, “I know that Messiah is coming. When He comes, He will explain everything to us.” Then Jesus declared, “I who speak to you am He!”
Agape Love Comes From Those Who Receive It
1st John 4:14-15 We have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God.
Agape Love Is The Lifestyle Of God
1st John 4:16 We know and rely on the (agape) love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.
Mature Believers Live In Agape Love Now
1st John 4:17-18 In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like Him. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
Agape Love Is Initiated
1st John 4:19 We love because He first loved us.
