33 Amazing Benefits Granted To You Upon Salvation Pt. 1
Frank W. Benoit

Ephesians 1:18  I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you and the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints…

Frank Benoit
…All these things are done for the believer once and for all andcannot be lost or undone if the person is a true, born-again believer. This reaffirms the doctrine of Eternal Security, (which is one of the things God grants upon salvation)…

Lewis Sperry Chafer, Systematic Theology
The Scriptures reveal 33 amazing works of God which all comprise the salvation of a soul. They are accomplished by God instantly and are based on the merit of Christ and they are eternal… all 33 elements makeup the riches of grace which every Christian receives in salvation. As these blessings indicate, salvation is a work of God (for) man, not a work of man for God.

1. Saved By Grace And Made Alive In Christ
Acts 16:29-31  …he (the Philippian Jailer) called for a light and came in trembling and falling before Paul and Silas. He brought them out of the jail to his house and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”  They said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved and thy house.”

Ephesians 2:5  …even when we were dead in our transgressions, He made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)…

Ephesians 2:8-9  For by grace have you been saved through faith; it is not of your own efforts, it is the gift of God;  not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

2 Timothy 1:8b-10  …He saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted to us in Christ Jesus from all eternity and now has been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, Who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel…

Titus 3:4-6  When the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy…

1 Peter 1:8-9  Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

2. Granted Eternal Life
John 3:14-15  Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life.

John 3:36  Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him.

John 5:24  I tell you the truth, whoever hears My word and believes Him Who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life!

John 6:47  I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life.

John 10:27-28  My sheep listen to My voice; I know them and they follow Me.  I give them eternal life and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of My hand.

1 John 5:11-12  …this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

3. Have Been Foreknown, Elected, Chosen And Predestined By God
Romans 8:28-30  …we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. For those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers. Those whom He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified.

1 Peter 1:1-2  Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To God’s elect, strangers in the world, scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia and Bithynia, who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by His blood: Grace and peace be yours in abundance!

Ephesians 1:3-6  Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! Who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will– to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the One He loves!

1 Thessalonians 1:4  For we know, brothers loved by God, that He has chosen you…

2 Thessalonians 2:13  …we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth.
