Christ Our Passover Lamb
Get rid of the old yeast so that you may be a new batch without yeast–(Willful Sin) as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.

1st Corinthians 5:7

Ephesians 6:12…our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms

…take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of The Evil One.

The Glory Of God Is Fully Revealed In Christ’s Sacrificial Death
John 12:23-24  The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified… I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds!

The Model of Christ Is The Form For His People To Follow
John 12:25-26  The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves Me must follow Me; and where I am, My servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves Me.

Self-Sacrifice (Agapao) Is Contrary to Human Nature
John 12:27-28  Now My heart is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour. Father, glorify Your Name!

Christ’s Communion With God Is Perfect
John 12:29-30  Then a voice came from heaven, “I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.” The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to Him. Jesus said, “This voice was for your benefit, not Mine.

John 8:28-29  So Jesus said, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am the One I claim to be and that I do nothing on My own but speak just what the Father has taught Me. The One who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do what pleases Him.”

Christ’s Death Drives Out The Devil
John 12:31-33  Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.” He said this to show the kind of death He was going to die.

Now approaches the climactic moment when it shall be determined who shall rule this world. In the long conflict between the powers of light & darkness; between God & the devil, Satan has so effectually ruled that he is said to be the prince of this world; but My approaching death will destroy his kingdom, will break down his power & will be the means of setting up the kingdom of God over man. Barnes Notes On The Bible

Christ’s Death Opens Our Eyes; Turns Us From Darkness & Delivers Us From Satan’s Power
Acts 26:17-18  …I am sending you to them to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’

The Prince of This World Actively Seeks To Keep People Blinded To God
2nd Corinthians 4:3-4  …if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, Who is the image of God, should shine unto them

Ephesians 2:1-7

You were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath.

But because of His great love for us, God, Who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions–it is by grace you have been saved. God raised us up with Christ & seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages He might show the incomparable riches of His grace, expressed in His kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
