Communion Devotional
Romans 8:1 there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus

Covenant:
contract, commitment

Old Covenant:
Deuteronomy 11:26-28
James 2:10

New Covenant:
Jeremiah 31:33
Ezekiel 11:19-20

Ezekiel 36:27  I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.

Justification/Salvation:  God’s righteous act of removing the guilt and penalty of sin while, at the same time, declaring the ungodly to be righteous through faith in Christ’s atoning sacrifice.
Acts 13:39
Ephesians 2:8

Romans 8:1  Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

The Solution:
Romans 8:1 (Therefore,) there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:2-3

Sanctification:  the work of God’s free grace, whereby we are renewed in the whole man after the image of God, and are enabled more and more to die to sin, and live unto righteousness.  It is a continuing change worked by God in us, freeing us from sinful habits and forming in us Christ-like affections, dispositions, and virtues.
