Communion Devotional
Revelation 1:5b-8  To Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by His blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve His God and Father–to Him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen. Look, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of Him. So shall it be! Amen. “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “Who is, and Who was, and Who is to come, the Almighty!”

God; In Christ Grants Repentance And Forgiveness
Acts 5:31-32  God exalted Him to His own Right Hand as Prince and Savior so that He might give repentance and forgiveness of sins to Israel. We are witnesses of these things…

God’s Message To Us Is Forgiveness
Acts 10:43  All the prophets testify about Him that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His Name.

THE CROSS OF JESUS Is Salvation To The Saved And Silliness To The Lost
1 Corinthians 1:18  For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Christ Saves Us From The Consequence Of Our Sin
Matthew 1:20-21  …an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.”

Christ Is The Savior Of The Whole World
1 John 4:14  We have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world.

The Message Of The Church IS Forgiveness
2 Corinthians 5:18-20  God reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us.

The Lord Himself Promised Forgiveness Of All Sin Except For The Sin Of Refusing Forgiveness…
Mark 3:28-30  I tell you the truth, all the sins and blasphemies of men will be forgiven them, but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin. He said this because they were saying, “He has an evil spirit.”

Christ’s Sacrifice Keeps You Clean
1 John 1:7-8  …if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.  If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

The Whole World Benefits From Christs Forgiveness
1 John 2:2  He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

We Will Stand In Heaven Only By The Blood Of The Lamb
Revelation 7:13-14  One of the elders asked me, “These in white robes–who are they, where did they come from?” I answered, “Sir, you know.” He said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Ephesians 1:3-10  Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the One He loves.  In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that He lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding, He made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment–to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ…
