EXODUS!

Refusal Of The Lord’s Passover Is Death
Exodus 12:29-30  At midnight the LORD struck down all the firstborn in Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh, who sat on the throne, to the firstborn of the prisoner, who was in the dungeon & the firstborn of all the livestock as well. Pharaoh & all his officials & all the Egyptians got up during the night there was loud wailing in Egypt, for there was not a house without someone dead.

Christ Our Passover Lamb Has Been Sacrificed
1st Corinthians 5:7

John 3:18  Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the Name of God’s One & only Son.

John 3:36  Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him.

John 5:24  I tell you the truth, whoever hears My word & believes Him Who sent Me has eternal life & will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.

Kings Shall Fall Down Before Him
Exodus 12:31-32  Pharaoh called for Moses & Aaron by night & said “Arise & get you forth from among my people, both ye & the children of Israel go, serve the LORD (YHWH) as ye have said. Take your flocks & your herds, as ye have said, & be gone…& bless me also.”

Worldly People Only Desire Physical Life
Exodus 12:33-34  The Egyptians urged the people to hurry & leave the country. “For otherwise,” they said, “we will all die!”  So the people took their dough before the yeast was added, & carried it on their shoulders in kneading troughs wrapped in clothing.

God’s People WILL Be Rewarded
Exodus 12:35-36  The Israelites did as Moses instructed and asked the Egyptians for articles of silver and gold and for clothing. The LORD had made the Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people, and they gave them what they asked for; so they plundered the Egyptians.

Many People Follow God’s People
Exodus 12:37-39  The Israelites journeyed from Rameses to Succoth. There were about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides women and children. Many other people went up with them, as well as large droves of livestock, both flocks and herds.

But God KNOWS His People
2nd Timothy 2:19  Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure having this seal; The Lord knoweth them that are His & Let every one that nameth the Name of Christ depart from iniquity.

John 10:14

Passover Is The Key To Exodus
Exodus 12:40-42  Now the length of time the Israelite people lived in Egypt was 430 years. At the end of the 430 years, to the very day, all the LORD’s divisions left Egypt. Because the LORD kept vigil that night to bring them out of Egypt, on this night all the Israelites are to keep vigil to honor the LORD for the generations to come.

Passover Is An Exclusive Heritage
Exodus 12:43-45  The LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “These are the regulations for the Passover: “No foreigner is to eat of it. Any slave you have bought may eat of it after you have circumcised him, but a temporary resident and a hired worker may not eat of it.

Passover Is Central To God’s People
Exodus 12:46-47  It must be eaten inside one house; take none of the meat outside the house. Do not break any of the bones. The whole community of Israel must celebrate it.

Passover Is Observed In Truth ONLY BY GOD’S PEOPLE
Exodus 12:48-51  An alien living among you who wants to celebrate the LORD’s Passover must have all the males in his household circumcised; then he may take part like one born in the land. No uncircumcised male may eat of it. The same law applies to the native-born & to the alien living among you. All the Israelites did just what the LORD had commanded Moses & Aaron. On that very day the LORD brought the Israelites out of Egypt by their divisions.

Luke 13:23-29
