God’s Eternal Purpose In Christ’s Sacrifice
Revelation 13:7-9  He (antichrist) was given power to make war against the saints & to conquer them. He was given authority over every tribe, people, language & nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast–all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world. He who has an ear, let him hear.

God’s Purpose In Christ’s Death Was To Destroy The Work Of The Devil
1 John 3:8  He who does what is sinful (rebellion & disbelief) is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.

God’s Purpose In Christ’s Death Was To Destroy The Devil & To Free Us!
Hebrews 2:14-15  Since the children have flesh & blood, He too shared in their humanity so that by His death He might destroy him who holds the power of death—that is, the Devil & free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.

The Devil’s Work Keeps People Spiritually Blind To Jesus Christ
2 Corinthians 4:4  The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, Who is the image of God.

Jesus Cures Spiritual Blindness
John 8:47  Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you cannot hear is that you do not belong to God.

John 8:34-36  …Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin…. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

John 9:39  Jesus said, “For judgment I  have come into this world, so that the …

He Perfects Us Forever & Frees Us From False Religion!
Hebrews 10:14-18  …by one sacrifice He has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. …

God’s Purpose In Christ Is To Reconcile All Things
Colossians 1:19-20  God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him …

God Promises To Renew All Things
Revelation 21:5  He who is seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then He said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

The Renewal Of All Things
Matthew 19:28  Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

All Of Creation Will Be Renewed
Romans 8:21-22  The creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.

The New Creation Shall Completely Replace The Present One
Isaiah 65:17  For, behold, I will create a new heavens and a new earth: the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Revelation 21:1  I saw a new heaven & a new earth, for the first heaven & the first …

The Renewal Will Encompass Everything
Ephesians 1:9-10  He made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times have reached their fulfillment–to bring all things in heaven & on earth together under one head, even Christ.

The Renewal Will Transform Us!
Philippians 3:20-21  Our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, Who, by the power that enables Him to bring everything under His control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like His glorious body!

The Renewal Will Reunite Us!
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18  The Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words.

2 Peter 3:9-13  The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.

Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with His promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness.
