Spiritual Warfare Is About Who We Worship
Matthew 4:8-11 …the devil took Jesus up on a very high mountain & showed him all the kingdoms on earth & their glory. The devil said to Him, “I will give all this to you, if you will bow down & worship me!” Jesus answered ,“Away Satan! The Scriptures say: ‘Worship the Lord your God & serve Him only!’ Then the devil left Jesus & angels came to help Him.
There Is A Leader Of Evil Forces
John12:31 Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out.
John14:30 I will not speak with you much longer, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold on Me…
Evil Beings DO EXIST
Ephesians 6:12 Our struggle is not against flesh & blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world & against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Jesus Defeated The Forces Of Darkness
Colossians 2:13-15 …when you were dead in your sins & in the uncircumcision of your sin nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us & that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross. Having disarmed the powers & authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
The Warfare We Are Involved In Is Cosmic
Revelation 12:1-4 There appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun & the moon under her feet, upon her head a crown of twelve stars: Being with child she cried out travailing in birth, pained to be delivered. There appeared another wonder in heaven; behold a great red dragon, having seven heads & ten horns & seven crowns upon his heads. His tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven & cast them to the earth.
It Targeted God’s Plans For Redemption
Revelation 12:4-6 The dragon stood before the woman (Israel), who was ready to deliver, to devour her child (Jesus) as soon as He was born. She brought forth a man child, Who will rule all nations with a rod of iron: Her child was caught up unto God, to His throne. The woman fled into the wilderness where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred & threescore days.
It Involves ALL Of God’s Servants
Revelation 12:7-9 There was war in heaven: Michael & his angels fought against the dragon; the dragon fought with his angels & prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. The great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil & Satan, who deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth & his angels were cast out with him.
The Key To Overcoming Evil Is Jesus
Revelation 12:10-11 I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation & strength & the kingdom of our God & the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, who accused them before our God day & night. They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb & by the word of their testimony; & they loved not their lives unto the death.
The Result Of Christ’s Victory At The Cross Is That We Are NOW IN The OK Corral
Revelation 12:12-13 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens & ye that dwell in them. But woe to the inhabitants of the earth & of the sea! For the Devil has come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath a short time. So when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
Spiritual Propaganda Against God’s People Is The Major Tactic Of The Devil
Revelation 12:14-16 …to the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, & times & half a time from the face of the serpent. The serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. The earth helped the woman & the earth opened her mouth & swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
Now The Focus Is On The Church!
Revelation 12:17 The dragon was wroth with the woman & went to make war with the remnant of her seed who keep the commandments of God & have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Our Part of Spiritual Warfare Is Personal
Ephesians 6:12-13 Put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground & after you have done everything… stand!
Our First Line Of Defense Is Truth
Ephesians 6:14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist…
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth & the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me!
