Resurrection Power!
Revelation 1:16-18
His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance. When I saw Him, I fell at His feet as though dead. Then He placed His right hand on me & said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First & the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, behold I am alive for ever & ever! And I hold the keys of death & Hades!

Resurrection Is Fundamental To Christian Faith
1 Corinthians 15:3-6 What I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, & that He appeared (resurrected) to Peter & then to the Twelve. After that, He appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time!
Denial Of The Resurrection Is Denial Of The Christian Faith
1 Corinthians 15:12-14 But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.
Resurrection Power Is The Desire Of Anyone With A Heart Of Faith
Job 19:25-27 …I know that my Redeemer liveth, & in the end He will stand on the earth. Though my flesh be destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see my God; I myself will see Him with my own eyes! How my heart yearns within me!
Resurrection Power Is Absolutely Believable
Acts 26:6-8 I stand here on trial because of my hope in the promise made by God to our fathers, to which our twelve tribes hope to attain, as they earnestly worship night & day. It is for this hope that I am accused…Why is it thought incredible by anyone of you that God raises the dead?
Resurrection Is Elementary Christian Doctrine
Hebrews 6:1-2 …let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ & go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance of sin, faith in God, instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead & eternal judgment.
The Lord Preached Resurrection Power
John 5:21-22 As the Father raises the dead & gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom He is pleased to give it.
John 6:39 …this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall lose none of all that He has given Me, but raise them up at the last day.
John 6:44 Jesus answered, No one can come to Me unless the Father Who sent Me draws him & I will raise him up at the last day.
Jesus Demonstrated Resurrection Power
Mark 5:41-42 He took her by the hand and said to her, “Talitha koum!” (which means, “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”). Immediately the girl stood up & walked around…
Luke 7:12-15 …a dead person was being carried out–the only son of his mother, she was a widow…When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her & He said, “Don’t cry.” Then He went up & touched the coffin, those carrying it stood still. He said, “Young man, I say to you, get up!” The dead man sat up & began to talk, Then Jesus gave him back to his mother.
Everyone Will Experience Resurrection Power
John 5:28-29 …a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear My voice & come out–those who have done good will rise to live, those who have done evil will rise to be condemned.
2 Corinthians 5:10 …We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
The Resurrection Of Believers
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 The Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel & with the trumpet call of God & the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive & are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever! Therefore encourage each other with these words.
The Resurrection Of Non-Believers
Revelation 20:12-15 I saw the dead, great & small, standing before the throne, & books were opened. Another book was opened, the Book of Life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, death & Hades gave up the dead that were in them, each one was judged according to what they had done. Then death & Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, they were thrown into the lake of fire.
