The Foundation Stone Of The Church Is Elected By God But Is Unelected By Man
1 Peter 2:4 As you come to Him, the Living Stone–rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to Him—
Psalm 118:22-23 The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone; the LORD has done this and it is marvelous in our eyes.

Like Him (Living Stones); We–Are Being Built Into An Eternal Dwelling Place With An Eternal Service Unto God

Our Faith and Service To The Lord In His Church Is Guaranteed To Be Rewarded and Vindicated

Those Who Reject The Stone That God Accepted Will Find It To Be Their Greatest Obstacle
1 Peter 2:7-8 …but to those who do not believe, “The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone and , “A stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall.” They stumble because they disobey the message–which is also what they were destined for.

Those Who Accept The Living Stone Are Granted All The Rights and Privileges Of All Of God’s People
1 Peter 2:9-10 But you- are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy!
Hebrews 12:22-24 You have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
