The Fulfillment Of The Law
Psalm 25:14 The Lord confides in those who fear Him; He makes His covenant known to them.

John 1:17

The New Covenant Fulfills The Old
Matthew 5:17-18  Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

The Spiritual Principles Of The Law Are Eternal
Matthew 5:19-20  Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments & teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices & teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Sacrificially Love God & People
Matthew 22:36-40  Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.

Romans 13:8

Christ Opens Our Understanding To What God Has Done
Luke 24:44-45  He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about Me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets & the Psalms.” Then He opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures.

Psalm 25:14

Christ Fulfilled The Law
Romans 10:4  For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Galatians 3:13  Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”

Righteousness Is From God & Is Apart From The Law
Romans 3:20-21  …no one will be declared righteous in His sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin. But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.

Romans 3:28

The New Covenant Replaced The Old
Hebrews 8:6-10  The ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which He is mediator is superior to the old one, (The Law) & it is founded on better promises. If there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another.

Hebrews 7:18-19

Christ Fulfilled The Requirements Of The Law On Behalf Of The Sinner
Colossians 2:13-14  When you were dead in your sins & in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; He took it away, nailing it to the cross.

Faith In Christ Alone Is All A Believer Should Trust In
Galatians 3:23-27  …we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. The law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law. You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

Apostolic Doctrine Holds That The Law Cannot Justify
Romans 3:28  …we (The Apostles) maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law.

Galatians 2:16  …a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. We too (The Apostles) have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ & not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified.
