What Is Truth? – Pt. 3
Psalm 25:4-5 Show me Your ways, O LORD, teach me Your paths; guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior and my hope is in You all day long.
Truth Is Personified In Jesus Christ
John 14:6-7 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you really knew Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him.“
As Truth Personified, Christ Reveals The Only True God
John 17:2-3 Thou hast given Him power over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as Thou hast given Him. This is life eternal, that they might know Thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom Thou hast sent.
The Knowledge Of God Is Truth
1 John 5:20 We know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
God’s Truth Sanctifies His People By His Word
John 17:17-19 Sanctify them through Thy truth: Thy Word is truth.As Thou hast sent Me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. For their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

Truth Must Be Understood In The Context Of Revealed Scripture
John 7:37-38 On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. Whoever believes in Me as the Scripture has said streams of living water will flow from within him.”
The Truth Of God Comes From Scripture
2 Timothy 3:15-17 …from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Refusal Of Truth Leads To Myth And Superstition
2 Timothy 4:3-4 …the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; They shall turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned unto fables.
Human Nature Trends Away From Truth
1 Corinthians 2:14 …the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Believers HAVE The Mind Of The Lord
1 Corinthians 2:15-16 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
God Does This For You When You Are Saved
Ezekiel 36:25-27 I will sprinkle clean water on you and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit in you and move you to follow My decrees and be careful to keep My laws.
