What Is Truth? – Pt. 5
John 3:8
The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.

The Holy Spirit Draws Lost Souls To Jesus Christ
John 3:1-2  Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him.”

When A Lost Soul Meets Jesus, They Meet Spiritual Truth
John 3:3-4  In reply Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.”  “How can a man be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb to be born!”

A Lost Soul Is Moved By The Spirit To A Renewal That Only Jesus Can Give
John 3:5-8  Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

Spiritual Renewal Is The Most Basic Human Need
John 3:9-15  “How can this be?” Nicodemus asked. “You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and do you not understand these things? I tell you the truth, we speak of what we know and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? No one has ever gone into heaven except the One Who came from heaven–the Son of Man. Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life.

Nicodemus Was Born Again And He Became A Disciple Of Jesus Christ
John 19:38-39   Later, Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for the body of Jesus. Now Joseph was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly because he feared the Jews. With Pilate’s permission, he came and took the body away.  He was accompanied by Nicodemus, the man who earlier had visited Jesus at night. Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds.

The Thief On The Cross Confessed Jesus As Lord
Luke 23:42-43  …he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when Thou comest into Thy kingdom!  And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with Me in paradise!

The Blind Man Given Sight Worshipped Jesus As Lord
John 9:35-38  Jesus heard that they had cast him out; when He had found him, He said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? He answered and said, Who is He, Lord, that I might believe on Him?  Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen Him and it is He that talketh with thee. And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped Him.

The Philippian Jailer Accepted Christ Evidenced By His Rejoicing In The New Faith
Acts 16:30-34  …Sirs, what must I do to be saved? They said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved and thy house. So they spoke unto him the word of the Lord and to all that were in his house. He took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. When he had brought them into his house, he set food before them and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.

A Soul Can Confess Jesus Christ As Lord Only By The Holy Spirit
1 Corinthians 12:3  Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

The Ministry Of The Holy Spirit Is To Convict The Lost Concerning Their Unbelief
John 16:7-9  Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send Him unto you. When He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on Me…
