Answer to Prayer Depends On How We Ask
1st John 5:14-15 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.
Our Will Must Submit To God’s Will
Matthew 26:39 Going a little farther, He fell with His face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will.”

God’s Will Is Found IN SCRIPTURE
John 6:39-40 This is the will of Him Who sent Me, that I shall lose none of all that He has given Me, but raise them up at the last day. For My Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Sin Should Be Prayed About
1st John 5:16-17 If anyone sees his brother commit a sin that does not lead to death, he should pray and God will give him life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that he should pray about that. All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death.
Dealing With The Faults of Others Requires Spiritual Maturity
Galatians 6:1 Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.
Deuteronomy 32:39 See now that I myself am He! There is no god besides Me. I put to death and I bring to life, I have wounded and I will heal, and no one on deliver out of my hand.

Believers Are Delivered From Sin’s Ultimate Consequence
1st John 5:18-19 We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; (the sin of unbelief) the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him. We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.
ONLY Believers Know Truth With Certainty
1st John 5:20 We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him Who is true. And we are in Him Who is true–even in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the True God and Eternal Life!
