Christmas Realized
Matthew 1:23 The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call Him “Immanuel”— which means; “God with us!”
Immanuel Was God In The World Reconciling Us Through Christ
2nd Corinthians 5:19 …God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them, & He has committed to us this message of reconciliation.
Immanuel Is God Fully Embodied in His Birth
Isaiah 9:6-7 For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over His kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.
Messiah’s Birth Is God In Flesh Appearing
1st Timothy 3:16 Beyond all question, the mystery of Godliness is great: He appeared in a body, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.
Immanuel Reveals The Person of God
Hebrews 1:3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the Exact Representation of His Being, sustaining all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
Immanuel Is God

Immanuel is The Creator
John 1:2-3 He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made.
Hebrews 1:2 …Whom He appointed heir of all things, and through Whom He made the universe.
Immanuel Brings Us Into God’s Family
John 1:12-13 Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
Jesus In The Manger IS The Sign of Immanuel To Us
John 1:14-15 The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, Who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John testifies concerning Him. He cries out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me because He was before me.'”
To Know Immanuel Is To Know God
John 1:16-18 From the fullness of His grace we have all received one blessing after another. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, Who is at the Father’s side, has made Him known.
1st John 5:20 We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him Who is true. We are in Him Who is true–even in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
