First John—The Word Of Life…
The Word Of Life
1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched–this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.
The Life Is Apparent
1 John 1:2 The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us.
The Word Is Only Comprehended By Hearing It Proclaimed
1 John 1:3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. Our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ…
To Be A Believer Is To Be A Herald
Romans 10:14-15 How can they call on the One they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the One of Whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
To Be A Herald Is To Fulfill A Trust
Mark 16:15-16 …Jesus said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
Titus 1:3 …at His appointed time, He brought His Word to light through the preaching entrusted to me by the command of God our Savior…
God Is Perfect And Without Fault!
1 John 1:5
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all!
Evil Does Not Exist In The Person Of God!
Deuteronomy 32:3-4
…I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God! He is the Rock, His work is perfect: for all His ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He.
2 Samuel 22:31 As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: He is a buckler to all them that trust in Him!

Fellowship Is Possible ONLY Through Forgiveness
1 John 1:6-7 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.
We Have Sin…God Does Not
1 John 1:8-10 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His Word is not in us.
1 Timothy 6:13-16 I give thee charge in the sight of God, Who quickeneth all things and before Christ Jesus, Who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: Which in His time He shall show, Who is the Blessed and Only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords; Who Only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach; Whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to Whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.
