Calling On The Name Of The Lord
Romans 10:12-13 …there is no difference between Jew or Gentile–the same Lord is Lord of all & He richly blesses all who call on Him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

This is the account of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time and he walked with God.

The LORD appeared to Abram and said, “To your offspring I will give this land.” So he built an altar there to the LORD, Who had appeared to him. He went on toward the hills east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east. There he built an altar to the LORD and called on the name of the LORD.

Genesis 26:23-25 Issac went up from thence to Beersheba. Genesis 32:22-30 …Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two maidservants and his eleven sons and crossed the ford of the Jabbok. When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man. Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.” The man asked him, “What is your name?” “Jacob,” he answered. Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with men and have overcome.” Jacob said, “Please tell me your name.” But he replied, “Why do you ask My name?” Then he blessed him there. So Jacob called the place Peniel, saying, “It is because I saw God face to face and yet my life was spared.”
