Communion Devotional
To Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by His blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve His God and Father–to Him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen. Look, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of Him. So shall it be! God’s Purpose in Christ is to grant Repentance & Forgiveness

God’s Message to Humanity Has Always Been His Forgiveness
Acts 10:43 All the prophets testify about Him that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His Name.
God’s Solution to man’s Sin Problem –THE CROSS OF JESUS
1st Corinthians 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
Christ’s Birth Was Heralded as Salvation From Sin’s Consequence
…an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.” Matthew 1:20-21

We have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world. 1st John 4:14
Our Message must be God Forgives
God reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. 2nd Corinthians 5:18-20
The Lord Promised Forgiveness
Mark 3:28-30 I tell you the truth, all the sins and blasphemies of men will be forgiven them, but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin. He said this because they were saying, “He has an evil spirit.”
Christ’s Sacrifice Paid for All Sin.
…if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 1 John 1:7-8
Christ’s Sacrifice Atones for the Sins of All Believers & of the Whole World.
He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. 1st John 2:2
Ephesians 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.
