Vision 2020—Fix Your Eyes On Jesus
Hebrews 12:2  Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

The Lord Sends Us Into Stormy Seas
John 6:16-17  When evening came, His disciples went down to the lake, where they got into a boat and set off across the lake for Capernaum, by now it was dark and Jesus had not yet joined them.

Mark 6:45-47  Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of Him to Bethsaida, while He dismissed the crowd. After leaving them, He went up on a mountainside to pray. When evening came, the boat was in the middle of the lake and He was alone on land.

The Lord Is Aware And With Us In The Midst Of Storms
John 6:18-19  A strong wind was blowing and the waters grew rough. When they had rowed three to three and a half miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water…

Mark 6:48  He saw the disciples straining at the oars, because the wind was against them. About the fourth watch of the night He went out to them, walking on the lake…

Do Not Allow Fear and Superstition To Control You When Storms Are Raging
John 6:19  …when they had rowed about 3 or 4 miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea drawing near to the boat and they were frightened.

Mark 6:48-49  …He was about to pass by them, but when they saw Him walking on the lake, they thought He was a ghost. They cried out, because they all saw Him and were terrified.

Matthew 14:26  When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified and said, “It is a ghost!” and they cried out in fear.

Luke 24:36-40  …Jesus stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost. He said to them, “Why are you troubled and why do doubts rise in your minds?  Look at My hands and My feet. It is I Myself! Touch Me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.” When He had said this, He showed them His hands and feet.

Recognize The Lord In The Midst Of Stormy Waters and Take Courage!
John 6:20  But He said to them, “It is I; don’t be afraid.”

Mark 6:50  Immediately He spoke to them and said, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

Matthew 14:27  Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

Fix Your Sights On The Lord Not On Your Circumstance
Matthew 14:28-31  “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” He said. So Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out His hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” He said, “why did you doubt?”

The Lord Jesus Christ Of The Bible Is Worthy Of Worship
Matthew 14:32-33  When they got into the boat, the wind stopped. Those who were in the boat worshipped Him, saying, “You are certainly God’s Son!”

Our Sin Nature Is Hardened Against The Lord
Mark 6:51-52  Then He got into the boat with them, and the wind stopped; and they were utterly astonished, for they had not gained any insight from the incident of the loaves, but their heart was hardened.

Only When We Let The Lord INTO Our Boat Can We Get To Where We Need To Go!
John 6:21  So they were willing to receive Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going.

Acts 8:39  When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away; and the eunuch no longer saw him, but went on his way rejoicing.

1 Kings 18:12  It will come about when I leave you that the Spirit of the LORD will carry you where I do not know…

2 Kings 2:16  …please let them go and search for your master; perhaps the Spirit of the LORD has taken him up and cast him on some mountain or into some valley.

Luke 24:30-36  When He had reclined at the table with them, He took the bread and blessed it, and breaking it, He began giving it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Him; and He vanished from their sight. …they got up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, … They began to relate their experiences on the road and how He was recognized by them in the breaking of the bread. While they were telling these things, He Himself stood in their midst and said to them, “Peace be to you.”

1 John 3:1-3  Behold what manner of love the Father has given unto us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. Everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
