Forgiveness
The Whole Bible Teaches That Only In Christ is there Forgiveness of Sins
Acts 10:43 All the prophets testify about Him that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His Name.
Christ’s Sacrifice Paid for All Sin.
Mark 3:28-30 I tell you the truth, all the sins and blasphemies of men will be forgiven them, but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin. He said this because they were saying, “He has an evil spirit.”
All Sin Past Present & Future
1 John 1:7-8 …if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
His Sacrifice Atones for the Sins of ALL Believers & of the Whole World.
1st John 2:2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world!
The Promise of total forgiveness is For All
Acts 2:36-39 …God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off–for all whom the Lord our God will call.
Christ is The God Ordained Lord of Forgiveness.
Acts 5:30-33 The God of our fathers raised Jesus from the dead–whom you had killed by hanging Him on a tree. God exalted Him to His own Right Hand as Prince and Savior that He might give repentance and forgiveness of sins to Israel. We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit…

Christ’s Sacrifice is God’s Good News & God’s Power.

The Appearance of God’s Savior Was the Principal Message of the Apostles.
1st John 4:14 We (the Apostles) have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world.
The Name of the Savior is Savior!
Matthew 1:20-21 …an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.”
Jesus is the Greek form of Joshua, which means the Lord saves.
Christ’s Sacrifice Is the Message of the Church Nothing Else!
2nd Corinthians 5:18-20 All this is from God, Who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us.
