I Watched As He Opened The Sixth Seal.
Revelation 6:12-Ch 7  

The Sign Of The Son Of God
Revelation 6:12-14  I watched as He opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

Matthew 24:29-30  Immediately after the distress of those days the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn.

THE SIGN OF HIS RETURN IS HIS RETURN!
Matthew 24:30-31  They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. He will send His angels with a loud trumpet call and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
(Preceded by all the cosmological signs and the opening of the other 5 Seals, which covers at least 2000 years of human history.)

His Return Will Be Universally Witnessed
Matthew 24:26-27  …if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the desert,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

Revelation 1:7  Look, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of Him. So shall it be! Amen.

Matthew 24:30 …all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.

Mark 13:26  Then they will see THE SON OF MAN COMING IN CLOUDS with great power and glory.

Revelation 6:16 They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him Who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!

Christ’s Return Will Be Like His Departure
Matthew 26:64 …Jesus replied. “I say to all of you: In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

Acts 1:11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “Why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, Who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven.”

2 Thessalonians 1:7  He will give relief to you who ae persecuted… This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with His powerful angels.

Revelation 1:7  Look! He is coming with the clouds and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of Him. So shall it be! Amen.

His Second Coming Is For Vindication And Judgement
Jude 1:14-15  Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men (false prophets): “Look! The Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of His holy ones to judge everyone and to convict all the ungodly of all the ungodly acts they have done in the ungodly way and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”

The Resurrection Will Be Sudden And Everlasting
1 Corinthians 15:51-53  Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable and the mortal with immortality.

“…He will send His angels with a loud trumpet call and they will gather His elect.” (Jesus) Matthew 24:31 

Believer’s Resurrection Is Linked To Christ’s Redemption
1 Thessalonians 4:13-15  Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him. According to the Lord’s Own Word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep…

Believer’s Resurrection Happens Upon Christ’s Return
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18  For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so, we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words.
