Resurrection Now!
Acts 26:8 Why should it be thought incredible by you that God raises the dead?

Resurrection Is Essential Christian Doctrine
1 Corinthians 15:1-8 I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, …that He was buried, that He WAS raised on the third day according to the Scriptures and that He appeared to Peter and then to the Twelve. After that, He appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles and last of all He appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.
Denial of Resurrection is Nothing New
Mark 12:18-23 The Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to Him with a question. “Teacher,” they said, “Moses wrote for us that if a man’s brother dies and leaves a wife but no children, the man must marry the widow and have children for his brother. Now there were seven brothers. The first one married and died without leaving any children. The second one married the widow, but he also died, leaving no child. It was the same with the third. In fact, none of the seven left any children. Last of all, the woman died too. At the resurrection, whose wife will she be, since the seven were married to her?”
Acts 17:30-32 …but now God commands all people everywhere to repent. For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the man He has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising Him from the dead.” When they heard about the resurrection of the dead, some of them sneered, but others said, “We want to hear you again on this subject.”
Biblical Illiteracy Is The Main Reason For Spiritual Error
Mark 12:24-27 Jesus replied, “Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God? When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. Now about the dead rising–have you not read in the book of Moses, in the account of the bush, how God said to him, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are badly mistaken!”
Resurrection Is About Relationship To Jesus Christ, Not A Future Event!
John 11:21-26 “Lord,” Martha said to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died. But I know that even now God will give You whatever you ask.” Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” Martha answered, “I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies and whoever lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”
Comment: “You suppose that in the last day the Messiah will restore the dead to live again upon the earth. I am the Messiah, the last days have therefore arrived. I am commissioned by the Father to bestow eternal life upon all who believe on me; but not in the manner you have anticipated. The true resurrection is not only calling the body from the tomb, but opening the fountains of eternal life to the soul. He that believeth in me and keepeth my commandments, has passed from death unto life that even though he passes into the grave, yet really, he lives with God forever! The true resurrection is, to come into the experience of the truth that, ‘God is not the God of the dead but of the living; for the soul that is filled with such faith; death has no power. Verily, I say unto you, the hour is coming and now is, when the dead, the ignorant and guilty, buried in trespasses and sins, shall lay hold of the life thus offered, and be forever blessed!”
Without Resurrection There Would Be No Christian Faith And No Hope To See Our Loved Ones Again
1 Corinthians 15:12-20 Since it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. If Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that He raised Christ from the dead. But He did not raise Him; if in fact the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men. But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
Resurrection Is Now And Resurrection Is Granted By God To Save MY Soul!
John 5:24-27 “I tell you the truth, whoever hears My word and believes Him Who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself. He has given Him authority to judge because He is the Son of Man.
Resurrection Will Extend To Everyone Who Has Ever Lived, Believer Or Not
John 5:28-29 “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear His voice and come out–those who have done good will rise to live and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned.
The Good That God Asks Of You Is To Simply Believe In His Savior!
John 6:26-28 Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, you are looking for Me, not because you saw miraculous signs but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. On Him God the Father has placed His seal of approval.” Then they asked Him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”
John 6:29 Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent!”
Philippians 3:7-11
Whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ–the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.
