1 John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of Him and declare unto you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all!
Fellowship With God Is To Agree With The Truth
1 John 1:6-10 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.

1 John 2:1-2 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: He is the propitiation for our sins: not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

The Word Of God Never Changes
1 John 2:7-8 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in Him and in you: because the darkness is past and the true light now shineth.
To Be In God’s Light Is To Love Another Sinner
1 John 2:9-11 He that saith he is in the light and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness and walketh in darkness and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

Prioritize Your Life Between Living For God And Living In This World
1 John 2:15-17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. The world is passing away, the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God, will abide for ever!
1 Corinthians 7:29-31 But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remains, that they that have spouses live as though they had none; And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not; And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.
